Both compositions are early in my evolution. Piano Variations was a watershed moment. I understood music how to hold onto an idea let it ride and play itself out. It was the horse that I rode on to get to Juilliard. For that Piano Variations will always be near and dear to me. Jonathon Bass a young pianist I met at Juilliard is performing a wonderful artist. Thank You Jonathon.

'Insequor' is a commission by a Swedish Cellist a virtuosic piece for a virtuosic performer. I'm afraid that I can't write registral displacement and serial pointillism for the affirmation of prevailing tastes. I love the simplicity of the cello against the antagonistic piano lines.
