  What can I say can I not include these two wonderful pieces in my oeuvre? Of course, the first is rendering of my son Nathaniel’s grade school essay about him and Grandpa sneaking off to feed Grandpa’s silly lovable donkey. I had no idea that Nathaniel could write the way he does. There is something clear and dear in his words so I had to write a tune for them. The talented Rocky Bryant, drummer for Branford Marsalis produced the tune and his small son sang for us isn’t that just the best thank you Rocky.
  The second song is a robust seasonal tune co-written by me and Andrew Markus who did the MIDI setting for my incidental music for Budd Schulberg’s revival of ‘on the Waterfront’. Andrew and I did the score in 8 days 300 bars of music thank you Andrew.
  The picture is baby Nathaniel and me having a conversation, he is now 6’2” and ready to be a navy seal what happened to the time.
